The darkness is closing in, changes are coming, the end of the beginning has begun. Evil begets evil, bad spawns more bad, each deed done in haste is repented at leisure. The mists begin to gather and the land is undergoing changes, good is turning to bad, the alignments are mis-aligned. Doom and destruction await all but the most evil, the strongest and the most wicked.

The Lord of the Land lives in his castle, he rules the land with a strong hand, he believes he is good, but he brooks no disobedience. Can he be turned, corrupted? Can he be destroyed with his own personality? Can he?

The villagers live under iron rule, all infringements, all transgressions are punished. Hanging day is always busy, executions an everyday event. Yet they are relatively well off, relatively well taken care of.......as long as they serve.

What lives in the ruined castle to the east? One will rue the day they meet him, for one will become only one. The essence of one will be ripped out and must be destroyed.

Come my children of darkness, your future awaits. Hold my hand, it is a long journey, but I know the way. Trust me. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
