Yukiko Amagi is a classmate of the Protagonist, and the daughter of a family who owns a traditional Japanese inn. She exudes an elegant aura about her, making her one of the more popular girls in school, but prefers to keep to herself most of the time. She uses all kinds of fans as weapons, and her Persona is summoned by being hit with the fan. Yukiko's Persona grants her Fire Magic as well as healing abilities.

April has been a surprisingly busy time for the Amagi Inn, with guests coming over and Yukiko often going home early or even skipping class to help out as training for becoming the inn's future head. But she suddenly goes missing one day, making Chie worried. At first, Yukiko was able to answer the home phone when trying her cell was unsuccessful, but she later appears in Mayonaka TV, wearing a princess costume. She announces to the viewers that she will be waiting inside her castle for a prince charming that would sweep her off her feet and take her away.
Kuma reluctantly helps the Protagonist's party to locate the castle where Yukiko was holed up in. This apparently represented her frustrations over her future of running the family inn already being chosen for her, as well as her desire to be "rescued by a prince" (in this case, Chie) so that she can live a normal life. The normally shy and reserved Yukiko that they meet midway through the castle seemed to be a bit more outgoing and cheeky than before...
It turns out, this Yukiko was nothing more than a shadow, the reverse of her true self. Like Yosuke, Yukiko makes her shadow stronger by denying it as a part of herself; but upon the shadow's defeat, The party was able to encourage her to come to terms with her frustrations, and the shadow transforms into Konohana Sakuya, her new Persona.

Yukiko is also one of the S. Links in the game. Befriending her will help you realize the potential of the Priestess Arcana. During the link,Yukiko voiced her wish to the protagonist to leave Inaba and find a career away from managing her family inn. She eventually changed her mind when she realized she could not find the heart to leave the family and employees who supported her when she decided to learn to cook. In addition, Yukiko discovers her fear and resentment wasn't solely born from the idea of her inheriting the family business, but rather that the decision to take over was made for her by her family. Maxing out her S. Link will allow Konohana Sakuya to ascend to Amaterasu.

- Though usually shy and reserved, Yukiko has a habit of bursting out in peals of laughter at a funny joke or situation, which usually leaves her friends speechless.
- The name Yukiko means "Snow Child", which is rather ironic since her Persona uses fire skills and is weak to ice. Yukiko's subconscious thoughts also express her hidden resentment towards this name.
- Aside from the similar arcana affinity, Yukiko shares Fuuka's significant lack of culinary aptitude, though her cooking is stated to be more flavorless than awful.
