Characters
Main cast
- Protagonist. Initial persona：Fool - Orpheus. A second year highschool student who transferred to a new school. Because of his ability to swap Persona at any time, he's put in the position of leader of the Special Extra-curricular Club. In the official manga he is given the name Minato Arisato (有里 湊, Arisato Minato).
- Yukari Takeba (岳羽 ゆかり). Initial persona: Lovers - Io. She lives in the same dormitory as the Protagonist and is a classmate. She is an upbeat and cheerful girl.
- Junpei Iori (伊織 順平). Initial persona: Magician - Hermes. A classmate of Yukari and the Protagonist. Because he also recently transferred to the school, he and the Protagonist get along well.
- Mitsuru Kirijou (桐条 美鶴). Initial persona: Empress - Penthesilea. The student council president. She is the daughter of a wealthy business family, one that is responsible for the creation of the school. She's incredibly wise and composed, and the manager of the Special Extra-curricular Club.
- Akihiko Sanada (真田 明彦). Initial persona: Emperor - Polydeuces. The major player of the boxing club. Akihiko is a calm and composed person on the outside, but a deeply passionate person on the inside. He's a lone wolf.
- Fuka Yamagishi (山岸 風花). Initial persona: Priestess - Lucia. An introverted girl who finds herself to have the persona power which can read the status data from the target. She replaces Mitsuru as a back-up unit so Mitsuru can fight along with protagonist on the front.
- Aigis (アイギス). Initial persona: Chariot - Palladion. Anti-shadow humanoid weapon.
- Ken Amada (天田 乾). Initial persona: Justice - Nemesis. A primary student whose persona power was uncovered by Shuji and convinced to join the club. He and Shinjirou have a tragic past.
- Koromaru (コロマル). Initial persona: Strength - Cerberus. A stray dog whose master, a temple priest died in accident. Its persona power was awakened when the temple was being attacked by shadow. It joined protagonist's team after the incident for thanking the rescue.
