[edit] In Digital Devil Saga
Mick is the burly and powerful leader of the Solids situated in Anahata. Mick has led his tribe to become the third strongest in the Junkyard through pure brute force while hidden behind the seemingly impregnable walls of the Solids' Citadel. He only very rarely leaves the Citadel himself, which has made it very hard for the Maribel who are under constant attack from his soldiers.
Once Mick received his Atma powers, he had no trouble devouring his own comrades as they lost control of themselves. He takes great pleasure in devouring anyone that stands in his way and crushing the weak. When the Maribel began their latest assault on his Citadel, he was approached by one of Jinana's soldiers named Bat. After Bat explained the plot by the Maribel and Embryon, Mick gave Bat a post in his tribe and began an effective counter attack. Witnessing Jinana lose control of her Atma powers proved to be enough for Mick's true emotions to awaken, and he left to attack the Maribel stronghold while Serph and Jinana fought each other.
After quickly overrunning Manipura, he was again approached by Bat to inform him that Sera was at the Embryon's main base. Mick set up a trap within the Maribel Base to distract Serph long enough for him and his men to attack Muladhara, defeat Cielo, and kidnap Sera.
Mick allowed Cielo to live just to pass on the message that he had taken Sera to the remote ruins at Co-ordinates 136, where he had set a trap to destroy the Embryon. Upon Serph reaching him, Mick tried to force Sera to sing and seal Serph's power, but she refused. Mick was forced to resort to plan B, and had Bat make Heat turn against Serph. Unbeknown to Mick, Heat's betrayal was a ruse, and while he watched the mock fight Sera made a break for it. Although she was captured by Bat, he in turn betrayed Mick to join the Brutes, but was caught off guard by Cielo who rescued Sera.
With no underhanded plans left Mick tried to escape, but his exit was blocked by Gale. Surrounded by the Embryon, Mick put up one final desperate fight in the form of his Atma avatar Rahu, but would ultimately be defeated by Serph and his comrades.

Mick the Slug appears only briefly as solar data on The Sun, where he is tormented by anger and annoyance at the Embryon. The strength of Rahu has increased a great deal, but he still uses the same old strategies.
