[edit] In Persona 2 Innocent Sin

Lisa is a big fan of martial arts movies, especially ones by Bruce Lee. She is one of the more popular girls at Seven Sisters High School, and harbors a crush for Tatsuya. However, she and Kasugayama High School leader Eikichi Mishina have a confrontational relationship akin to that of Kei Nanjou and Masao Inaba from Megami Ibunroku Persona. During a heated exchange early on, Eikichi gives her the nickname "Ginko" (gin means silver in Japanese, taken from her last name and ko is a common Japanese name suffix for females) as an insult. Much to Lisa's chagrin, the name pretty much stuck. However, she was able to counter Eikichi by giving him the pejorative moniker "Captain Underwear".

Lisa was the top candidate for Miss Sevens, a beauty pageant/popularity contest held at Seven Sisters High School. Most people assumed she spoke English. Lisa and her two friends Asacchi and Meepo were selected to be in the idol group MUSES, created from a rumor. The song that MUSES sings, with Lisa as the lead vocal and leader of the group, is called "Joker" which encourages people to call Joker to solve their problems. She then recites a piece from the Oracle of Maiya, the song of a foreign land portion being fulfilled through Lisa (who despite having been born and raised in Japan is technically a foreigner) becoming a idol and singing at a live concert that was highly publicized.

Lisa comes from a wealthy family, and lives in a giant Japanese-style manor. Her father Steven Silverman insists on raising Lisa to be a traditional Japanese girl. Lisa refuses to follow his father's wishes, and often resorts to her haphazard use of Cantonese as a form of rebellion.

[edit] In Persona 2 Eternal Punishment

She doesn't remember the events from Innocent Sin; near the end of the game, she is kidnapped and is forced to remember the Other Side, inching the world closer to destruction. Also, you get to fight Tatsuya's sin in the form of Metal Lisa, accompanied by metal versions of Jun and Eikichi.

[edit] Trivia

  • The Greek counterpart of Lisa's persona Venus is Aphrodite, mother of Eros, another Lisa's exclusive persona.
  • In Persona 3, Lisa appears on TV as a fitness instructor who often ends her segment with a Cantonese word of the day, and even gives viewers instructions on the word's practical use.
  • She also shows up in the debug mode of Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne. A real-time cutscene has her superimposing Chiaki's character model in the Shinjuku Medical Center. Later a similar character model appeared in the initial Shin Megami Tensei: IMAGINE demo video with different hair color and clothing.
