A Greek giant with 100 eyes. Son of a nymph, he was renown as a guardian since only a few of his eyes needed to sleep at a time. He later killed Echidna, but was killed by Hermes on Zeus' orders after Hera entrusted him with keeping Zeus away from a nymph he was attracted to.
