Terrible nightmare full of scary faces, who are these people? They haunt my dreams, they stay with me when I awake, the follow me throughout the day. Strange faces, strange clothes, strange names, "Brandi", "Brett", "Jess", "Karen", "Wayne", why do you haunt me so? Why? Why?

I'm going to post like 3 days late...I know I'm really bad with this but everything is so hectic with life and school and work, well you guys know my deal. Anyways, as just mentioned off handedly Wedensdays game wasn't that great. Considering that we decided to get together after Jess and I got off work, and wanted to eat some chow. Plus with Brett having to be at work by 10 and me having a butt load of homework, it wasn't looking like it would be a productive outing. But any opportunity to "get my dork on" that is feasible I jump on. After dilly dallying in town, and training my Dire Tiger which (after much consideration) will now be known as "Tobey". (lead singer chick for SRC) We finally got around to returning to Rapan-A-Thuk.....But with Jess and I chowing down, Brandi having a Bathroom emergency...more than once and just general chitterchatter we didn't get very far. I enjoy any time we all get together anyways, so even though no much was accomplished....I still had a great time ;-)

Even when there are so few people we manage to actually pull off a game. Well, more like a mini-game. And it gave us more of a taste of Wayne's DMing skills and gave Brandi a chance to play again. It was a fun game. We were damn first level characters and that's a bit of a shock after being a 12th level character, but it was good fun all and all. I was sorely wishing I was a damn cleric the whole time we were playing, but being a fighter just seemed like something quick and easy to do on the spur of the moment. I'm pleased with the pictures, The Great Brandini has done a great job. Taking the pictures on the day of the game that wasn't was great, too. It made everything so spur of the moment. ::yawn:: Sleepy. I think maybe a bit of Ravenloft and then bed for me.

Quotable Quotables

Brandi "Caw, caw, oh fuck it's dead!"

On the (supposed) demise of my raven

Brett "Bathroom Emergency!"

Brandi "My poor butt!"

Well, Finally I get around to contributing to this wonderful group hug journal we've got going on. In the beginning I didn't even want to be involved in this mess, now look at me, I'm bothering wayne just to look at his dms guide and thinking about my character in my spare time. I'm really really glad you guys drug me into this. I really feel like this is doing mad wonderful things for my "lack of fun" problem. I could tell I was really getting into it when I couldn't wait till Sunday...and then 2 weeks ago when I asked if I could become a Sorceress too. :-) Yeah Serena the fighter just kinda did some magick in her sleep then had the opportunity to visit with Wee Jas on some other plane (the we got to from going down a big black hole)... and was told the wonderful News that I was born a sorceress... (gee I love plot twists) It was also on this other plane that Jess and Bretts characters got freaky with Lando Calarisian (Jess you know I love you, but I have to be true to how the games actually go) Last night Wayne and Jess talked to me about this Ravenloft thingy. I'm down, and I even started thinking about character issues. After a little midnight inspiration I decided I'm going to be an Evil Male Sorcerer named....hehehe Y'all will find out. I can't wait till tomorrow. Even though we're only going to get to play for a few hours, at least we'll get to play :-) Well Now that I've unloaded a lot, and hopefully not bored you guys to death, I'm going to close. Laters.

Yeah, I think I'm striving for power too much. I spend my days looking up stuff to make my character more powerful. My character is currently making purple worm skin armor. And coming up with feats that actually are in D&D.[huh?] To many people have come up with their feats, it's confusing. And I don't have the money to go and buy every book just to find the feats that I would like. [edited by Brandi]

After spending a good chunk of today editing, adjusting and just plain ol' working with my digital camera and the pictures taken with it, I have made a decision. From this point forward I am bringing my camera with me to the games. I'll take pictures of the extreme goofiness and then I will post them here in the 'blog. Now people will have a better understanding of what we mean by "popeye", "scary monster", "d20 of doom" and the other eccentrices that go along with our crazy game of D&D. It should be interesting and I feel it adds an extra special dorkiness to this all.

::grins::

This should be fun.

This is about Dorkness! This is about being the one true dork. This about a DM who has the same voice for every NPC. This is about players who threaten to throw giant D20's at people. This about us playing Dungeons and Dragons!
